Dirty South & Michael Brun – Rift [Phazing]
A little while back, Dirty South and Michael Brun first collaborated through the Phazing release ‘Rise’ that was edited by Dirty South, they now team up again for the epic new collaboration ‘Rift’, a real stormer of a track that matches Michael’s epic sound with the unmistakable Dirty South production.
Michael Brun is a real up-and-coming talent to look out for, with lots of projects and DJ dates coming from him as both Phazing and Dirty South take him under our wing. And what a 2012 it’s been for the wonder from down under Mr Dirty South. Summer of smashing the world’s festivals and an amazingly successful North American “City Of Dreams” tour along with numerous Beatport Number Ones! ‘Eyes Wide Open’ with Thomas Gold started things rolling and then followed by the remix of Miike Snow’s ‘Devil’s Work’ along with edits for other Phazing releases from the likes of Michael Brun and John Dahlback. To top things off, the beautiful City Of Dreams came along, a stellar collaboration with Ruben Haze and Swedish leading light Alesso! Truly a remarkable year, but it’s not finished yet. After ‘Rift’, there will be another Dirty South monster coming for you in time for the holidays, watch this space!
