A trending topic among the exQlusiv team has been “the best of the best” styled charts in which we chose our favorite Top 5 tracks from any genre to post every Sunday! This week, I felt like we needed to venture out into my all-time favorite genre, Disco House. There are far too many amazing tracks out there that belong on this list, but here are some of my personal favorites… I made my selection on a broad scale of time, ranging from Stardust’s “Music Sounds Better With You” in 1998 to Fred Falke’s remix of “Hold On,” released just this past month. “Easy” by Mat Zo & Porter Robinson has been the “love you” anthem of the year thus far. Its bliss and uplifting beauty are unprecedented. The new album includes 16 all-new Armin songs including the single premiered during his Ultra Music Festival set ‘This is What it Feels Like‘ featuring Trevor Guthrie.  During our coverage ASOT 600 Den Bosch Armin dropped many new teasers off of his upcoming album that our exQlusiv crew were able to expeience first hand. One just has to wonder how he can tour the world constantly and create a 16 song masterpiece. I suppose that’s a secret reserved for the number one DJ in the world.

exQlusiv Review: I AM HARDWELL

Hardwell played at I AM Hardwell, his first ever solo concert tour, on the 27th of April. In short, this tour is all about to show who Robbert van der Corput (Hardwell) really is, and it is safe to say that he showed it pretty well on the first edition of this promising tour.

After weeks of preparation and patiently waiting it was finally going to happen on that particular Saturday night.The sold-out Heineken Musical Hall in Amsterdam was ready for I AM Hardwell. Arriving somewhere around 22:30 I instantly noticed how crowded it already was. Even though the normal lights were yet to be turned off at the venue the atmosphere was already pretty amazing. The Dutch newspaper ‘ Spits’ headed that ‘the visitors were to get served an audiovisual spectacle’ so there was nothing to worry about.
