Dirty Dutch Exodus

After several sold out edtities in the biggest venues that Amsterdam has to offer such as the RAI and the heineken music hall it was time to for the brand new location “Ziggo Dome” to host the annual dirty dutch. It’s been a while sinds Dirty Dutch abandoned the concept that only Dutch DJs should play at this event. Among the foreign DJs there were the Frenchman Gregori Klosman and American Porter Robinson who arrived at number 40 of the DJ Mag Top 100 this year. Porter Robinson is best know for his massive track called “language”. So when he played this track this was defiantly a goose bump moment.

The new location brought much excitement with it. The hall was filled with disco balls this made the lights around the room reflecting the whole venue. The LED screens on the side of the room made for a 3d like effect making the stage more the focus point of the party. This gave the party  a rockconcert-like atmosphere. Much of the public was focused on the DJ instead of parting with each other. At the end of the day chuckie knows how to entertain the crowd, with his rapid mixing style and his record choices. He feels exactly what he can and can not do and looks for the border to do so. Chuckie searching the extreme where others DJs prefer to stay at home. If you live in london i would advise you to go see him on the 8th of december in the 02 academy.
