Dash Berlin has brought us yet another remix, as apart of his ASOT 600 previews! This time, he’s remixed “Apollo” by Hardwell & Amba Shepherd. His remix veers off from his traditional methods and gives this project a pleasant, bass-infused twist on the drop. I am happy to hear him incorporate his signature, big-room trance elements over the chorus and build-ups as well. Enjoy!
Hardwell is going to break borders this year. Hardwell announced at the 100th broadcast of his Hardwell On Air radio show, that he will explore new grounds this year with his solo project, titled I AM HARDWELL. It is the logical next step for the elected # 6 DJ in the world. The event will kick off on April 27 at the Heineken Music Hall, Amsterdam. The moment is here, time for the true Hardwell.
And that is primarily a quirky DJ, known for his own recognizable sound. On his 14th he signed his first recording contract, since then he has been continuously working on his own version of modern dance music.
In the meanwhile, Hardwell is now an world famous artist. His distinctive Hardwell sound has been played at the biggest festivals and venues, while his productions and releases on his own Revealed Recordings appear all over the world. In addition, Hardwell collaborated with artists as diverse as Rihanna, Example, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and many others ..
“My dream was always to bring the music that was in my head to the rest of the world” explains the man from Breda. “I’ve always kept believing and now I’m at a point in my career where I landed this dream and I can share it with all my fans around the world. It all seems to come out this year.”
What it’s all about? The distinctive Hardwell sound, creating an energetic atmosphere on the dance floor, but also a degree of mystery and the boundaries of contemporary dance scene as much as possible stretching. Without a doubt, this was established in 2012, Hardwell’s most successful year ever, when he constantly toured and managed to produce hits like Apollo and Spaceman.
