The internal changes at ID&T (Which has recently been taken over by American Giant SFX) are very tangible when you hear the Event Giant is to launch its ‘Sensation’ concept in Canada. The first ever Canadian ‘Sensation’ Will be held on June 1st in Toronto and will be headlined by none other than Eric Prydz. The Swedish DJ
The line-up will be completed by Dutch Duo Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Otto Knows and last but not least, Fedde le Grand.

After perviously turning down a 100 milljoen dollar offer, now the decision has been made to sell one of the biggest en prosperous international event companies in the world. Today was announced that SFX is going to buy three-quarters of the shares of ID&T for $130 million dollars. This is about 100 million Euros.
ID&T is known for events like Sensation and Mysteryland. The company was founded in 1992 and operates in 22 different countries in Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and North America.
” The creative heart, where parties and festivals are conceived and designed, remains entirely in Dutch hands. It remains under the name M-Design based in Amsterdam”, as emphasized the company. Also, the name ID&T remains the same. In 2012, the company turned a bid of 100 million dollars down.
The acquisitions of ID&T has many advantages according to Ducan Stutterhem, the director of ID&T. With ID&T being a part of SFX they can be more flexible to respond to new developments, they can attract bigger investments and have more people avalible in terms of organization and staff.

ID&T turned down an American offer to take over the Dutch dance company for 100 million dollar. Boss Duncan Stutterheim started out in a courier company and ended up as founder of Holland’s omnipresent dance brand. He could have retired prematurely, had he accepted an offer from an American billionaire this summer. But for a hundred million bucks? No sir. ‘We have been going strong for twenty years and I feel we could easily go for twenty more.’

After an ocean, a wonderland and even the depths of space, there seemed to be no place left for Sensation to kick off their new 2013 show. Still ID&T has found it, “The jungle”. Today Sensation presents “Into the wild”. On the 6th of July the show will premiere in Amsterdam as usual and tour through 20 different countries in the next couple of years. With that said, the whole world is excited to know more about this show. All we can tell you is that the show is going to take you through a journey into the animal kingdom. From the awakening of the wild animals, to catching the prey and celebrating victory. The show is all about seduction, the classic ritual between man and woman. This game of seduction starts early in the evening and will end in the dead of night, when animal instincts have taken over.
Sensation does not only stand for quality music, renewing dj’s, and a good time. The show element is one of the things that made Sensation the worlds most populair event. Every year sensation has to try to outdo their last year’s extravaganza. How are they going to do that this year? Well their plan is change the ArenA into a sweltering jungle, an organic world is going to be created: An Avatar like jungle. The light shows and pyro effects, amongst other things, will create a futuristic atmosphere. We are really excited with this news, we will try to keep you up dated.
